WEEK ONE, and what to do!! :)

EDIT: Spread the word about the group, you guys!! We're already two days into the first week-- and I think we can still try to get new members until the 3rd or 4th, don't you think?? ; ) If you have time, please write a journal about the group and let your friends/watchers know about the 52-Week project!! Here's to 500+ members!!

So! You've joined 52weekproject and are ready to bring on the challenge for 2011!! The first week is January 1st through 7th! Second is Jan 8-14, etc! But what do we do, exactly?

WE CAN DO THIS!! : ) To help you get started..!!


★ Do not be intimidated!! Use this week (and every week of the year!) to boost your creativity and expand your horizons! A great way is to experiment in styles you've never tried before!

★ [Optional] Choose a theme! You don't need a theme, but if it helps you come up with ideas, themes work wonders! For this week, if you don't have an idea already, I encourage you to draw your New Year Resolution(s)!!

★ Create your deviation! (It can be whatever you like, from drawings to paintings, to sculptures, to photography, to literature! As long as you make use of the whole week to prepare one deviation as well as you can!)

★ Finished early? If you think you've finished before the end of the week, let it sit a bit longer (or until the last day of the week) before you upload, so you can keep brainstorming to add those finishing touches!

★ Upload your deviation! After you upload into your own gallery, be sure to view your deviation, and click "+ Submit to Group" on the right side, then type in "52weekproject"! Make sure you submit the drawing into the correct week folder! Week 1 is called "Week 1 Jan1-7"

★ You're done with Week 1!! Now, hoist your belt loops, cos it's time to bring on Week 2!!
